HOW WE DO IT?

We provide safe and effective decontamination services of PPE with the goal of protecting first responders from exposure to harmful contaminants and ensure that they, and their families, may live in health.

We also teach others in the industry how to properly care for protective gear so that it effectively guards first responders on the job, and we raise awareness of how improper cleaning of fire gear puts their health and lives at risk.

Decontex is devoted to conducting its business in an environmentally sustainable way, ensuring the protection of our natural resources and environment, among other by increasing our renewable energy sources (e.g. installation of solar panels). Our commitment extends to complying with all applicable environmental, health, and safety obligations.

Waste, water and chemical management

We are dedicated to managing chemicals safely and responsibly, aiming to minimize our environmental impact resulting from chemical use.

Decontex is also proactive in minimizing waste, both in our offices and cleaning facilities, by managing waste responsibly. Our technology enables to triage the limited (150L/y) hazardous waste for safe management.

We are committed to reducing our water consumption and ensuring any toxic water is disposed of safely. Not only is our technology waterless, but recycling grey and cooling water has enabled us to cut our water consumption by 45%.
